With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Arthur Wenzel of Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on May 13, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Laura Van Paris Wenzel; his wife Barbara Swanson Wenzel; and his sister Marilyn Hatch. He is survived by: his father Arthur Edward; his children, Ronald Arthur Wenzel Jr. (Betsy) of Cornelius, NC and Robin Wenzel Blaney of Mooresville, NC; his grandchildren, Laura Wenzel, Jacob Wenzel (Megan), Evan Wenzel, Alice Wenzel, John Blaney, Erin Blaney and Rosa Somerville (Zach); his great grandchildren, Henry Wenzel, Savannah Somerville, Harper Somerville and Samantha Somerville; his sister Lorraine Andrysiak (Jim); and his friend Kelly Schrader. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
