She was predeceased by : her parents, Rev. Melton Edwards and Ollie Holt Edwards; her husband Leveall Holmes; her children, Melton Holmes and Arleen Holmes; and her siblings, Melton Edwards, Gladys Henderson and Christine Edwards.
She is survived by : her children, Benjamin Holmes, Sr. (Bessie), Ricky Holmes (Carla), Billy Holmes, VonSherrill Holmes, Mary Pigott and Monique Holmes. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
