Sherrill R. Holland III Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2025, Sherrill R. Holland III of Davidson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Sherrill shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sherrill farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jane Withers Holland; his children, Silas Rutledge Holland (Gerhard) of Washington, DC and Elizabeth Jennings Holland (Philip) of Arlington, VA; his grandchildren, Langston James Holland, Zora Yvonne Holland of Washington, DC, Arlo Reid Rosenman and Quinn Davis Rosenman of Arlington, VA; and his parents, Sherrill Reid Holland Jr. and Winifred Long Holland of Statesville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to DCPC Camp Grier Scholarship Fund or Davidson Presbyterian Church.
