It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stella Mae Ivey Cranford of Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on June 23, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Hampton Shore and Etta Mae Viola Finney; her husband Ed Ivey; her grandchildren, Christy, Dusty and Cindy; her stepchildren, Sherry Cranford Bivens and Randy Dale Cranford; and her brother Robert Shore Sr. (Barbara).
She is survived by: her significant other C. R. Cranford; her children, Kathy Fowler (Jay) of Thomasville, Judy Stone of Thomasville, Debbie Jarrett (Mickey) of Silver Valley, Donnie Ivey (Grace) of Thomasville and Mark Ivey (Cheryl) of West Jefferson; her adoptive daughter Karen Newsom (Donnie); and her stepdaughters, Pam Ray (Clinton) and Karen "DeeDee" Green (Robert). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, multiple great-grandchildren and several extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Stella's memory to Hospice of Davidson County.
