She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Samuel Huggins and Alvie Lee Hayes; her husband Sonny Cope; her brothers, C. J. Huggins, Bobby Huggins, Bill Huggins and Jimmy Huggins; and her granddaughter Bailey Cope.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Cope (Teresa), Shari Wallace (Chris) and Shayne McPherson (Preston); her grandchildren, Jessica Gosnell (Tim), Heather Ramirez (Josh), Jennifer Cope, Rachel Svistun (Dimitry), Zoe Ennis and Kolby Ennis; and her great grandchildren, Avery Gosnell, Ira Svistun and Gracie Gosnell. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant (8535 Lee St, Mt Pleasant, NC 28124). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
