He was predeceased by: his parents, James Martin Furr and Miriam Coulter Furr; and his sister Bonnie Marie Furr. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Watson; his children, James Stephen Furr, Jr. (Christy) and Stephanie Leigh Furr; his granddaughter Amber; his great grandchild Carter; and his siblings, Miriam Furr Lucas (Hollis) and Daniel Scott Furr (Jeaneen). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
