She was predeceased by: her father Charlie Watson; her son Billy Michael Wellborn; her son-in-law Jerry Wayne Smith; and her siblings, Mary Helen Church, Kathleen Payne, Muriel Warren, Marlene Watson, Clemon, Robert "Bob" and Harold Watson.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Wellborn; her daughter Janet Smith of Deep Gap; and her sister-in-law Beulah Brown Watson of Boone. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
