She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Miller and Ida Miller; and her daughter Sonja Rhymer Garland. She is survived by: her husband Stewart Rhymer; her son Randy Rhymer (Andria); her grandchildren, Caroline Rhymer and Carter Rhymer; and her son-in-law John Garland.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Laurel Springs Baptist Church (7504 US-421, Deep Gap, NC 28618). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
