She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Cowan and Betty Burkett. She is survived by: her husband Clyde "C. E." Greene; her children, Alana Williams, Alicia Phillips (Todd), Akesha McMillan (Josh) and Anna Greene; her grandchildren, Josiah Williams, Hayden Williams, Kallen Williams, Chase Phillips (Abby), Braden Phillips, Chance Phillips, Brantley McMillan and Declan McMillan; her great grandchild Weldon Phillips; and her siblings, Rick Cornejo and Carrie Mitchell (Bede).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Paran Baptist Church (3731 Wildcat Rd, Deep Gap, NC 28618). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
