He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee Graybeal and Sarah Wellborn Graybeal; his in-laws, Herman and Sally Coffey; his siblings, Faye Hicks (Frank), Betty Upchurch, Wayne Graybeal and Gary Graybeal; and his brother-in-law Arvil Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Graybeal; his children, Catherine Dienst (Mitch) and Bobby Graybeal; his sisters, Donna Huffstetler (Gary) and Joyce Baker; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Graybeal, Nina Graybeal, Sam Coffey and Bill Coffey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel (683 Blowing Rock Rd, Boone, NC 28607). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
