Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Alanis Whitfield of Deep Run, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 15, on May 13, 2025. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Richard Howard and Mary "Maggie" Houston. She is survived by: her parents, Michael Houston and April Houston; her siblings, Lou Bennett (Logan), Riley Houston and Izzy Houston; her grandparents, Barbara Howard and Roy "Mac" Houston; and her caregiver Riverbend of Children's Hospital. She is also survived by many extended family members, friends, caregivers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to RADD (Raising Awareness for the Developmentally Disabled) in honor of Alanis' life and the community that helped care for her.
