She is survived by: her husband Melvin Rich, Sr.; her children, Judy Phillips (Leroy) of Kinston and Melvin Rich, Jr. (Pam) of Kinston; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Terry (Grace) of Deep Run, Paige Terry of Kinston and Matthew Rich of Norfolk, VA; her great grandchild Hunter Taylor; and her brother James Howard (Judy) of Deep Run.
