We announce the death of Robert Dail Jr. of Deep Run, North Carolina, who passed away on August 15, 2026, at the age of 86. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ray Dail, Sr. and Ruby Owens Dail; and his brother Alton Curtis Dail (Tiny). He is survived by: his children, Wendy Dillon (Keith), Angel Dail and Rob Dail (Kimberly); his daughter-in-law Candice Dail; his grandchildren, Leanna Benson (Andy), Heather Viera (Josue), Rebecca Mejia (Kevin), Natalie Dail, Chloe Dail, Katie Dillon and Ray Dail; his great grandchildren, Enzo Mejia, Willow Viera, Iris Mejia, Stephanie Benson and Bethany Benson; his sister Jean Maguire; and his pets, Sam, Lucky and Toby. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
