She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Watkins and Eva Metcalf Watkins; her husband Ed Edwards; her son Nicky Brown; and her siblings, John, Floyd, Bobby Watkins, Pearl Metcalf, Mildred Bivens, Marie Huffman, Rebecca Hughes and Pamela Watkins.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Brown of Lexington, Betty Whitt of Denton and Tony Combs of Denton; her grandchildren, Darla Leonard (James), Crissy Loflin (Scott) of Tina Bivens, T. J, Combs, Jackson Parks, Jilliam Parks and Jaden Parks; her great grandchildren, Grayce Loflin, Aaron Loflin, Jesse Loflin, Payton Leonard and Xander Leonard; her great great grandchild Savannah Helms; and her niece Ann Thompson (Jimmy).
