Though Buddy may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Buddy leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Vernon Dorsett and Geneva Hughes Dorsett. He is survived by: his siblings, Raeford Dorsett (Brenda), James Dorsett (Pamela) and Vickie Yates (Dennis). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Briggs Funeral Home - Denton Chapel (103 E Salisbury St, Denton, NC 27239). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mountain View Memorial Gardens (956 Old Camp Rd, Denton, NC 27239).
