With sadness, we share the passing of David Dockery of Denton, North Carolina. David, born on September 10, 1940, passed away on November 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Robert "Bob" Dockery and Artie Worley Dockery; and his siblings, Bass, Jake, Noah, Fred, Garland, Jim, Lonnie of Harvey, J. B., Frankie, Wesley, Mary, Nettie, Kate, Grace, Lou Belle, Azalee and Willa Mae.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Thompson Dockery; his children, Davina Dockery and Mark Dockery of Winston Salem; his sister Pauline Self; his grandchildren, Bethany, Emma and Allie; and his great grandchild JaeLynn. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends.
