She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Alpha Garner and Rillie Hunt Garner; her former husband Max Cranford Shaw; her husband Charles Percy Davis, Jr.; her son Jeffrey Max Shaw; and her siblings, Louise Pierce, C. F. Garner, Ashley Garner and Sidney Garner.
She is survived by: her daughter Cherry Yates (Jerry Summey) of Denton; her grandson Andrew Yates (Veronica); her great grandchild Oliver Yates; and her siblings, Barry Garner (Mary Ann) of Lexington, Sue Ramsey of Denton and Wanda Lanning of Denton.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Briggs Funeral Home (103 E Salisbury St, Denton, NC 27239). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel (103 E Salisbury St, Denton, NC 27239).
