He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Snyder and Nannie Corbin Snyder; his granddaughter Brooke Pierce; and his brother William Snyder. He is survived by: his sisters, Eula Mae Skeen and Onibe Shields; his stepmother Aileen Doyle Snyder; his wife Ann Beck Snyder; his daughters, Vickie S. Pierce (Thomas) of Lexington, Joy S. Gallimore (Jeff) of Denton and Bonnie S Lanier (Gary) of Denton; and his grandchildren, Chad Pierce (Amanda), Heather Reddick (Chris), Brandi Pope (David) and Matthew Gallimore. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
