He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Loflin and Maie Lanier Loflin; and his siblings, Paul Loflin, Eavens Loflin, Dalton Loflin, Naomi Gallimore, Dorothy Loflin and Virgie Goodwin.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Bean Loflin; his children, Monica Loflin Garner (Zane) of Denton, Gay Loflin Shelton (Jaye) of Denton and Lyle Loflin (Pam) of Denton; his grandchildren, Breanna Olson (Eddie), Kivett Hicks (Hilary), Daniel Hicks (Jenny), Amanda Safford (Johnny), Alyssa Winfield, Christopher Small (Kaylan), Caleb Shelton, Matthew Shelton (Julianna), Katelyn Scarlette (Cole) and Hunter Loflin; and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Mae Lee, Colton, Mabry, Jackson, Weston, Carly, Mason, Chandler and Jayden.
