He was predeceased by : his parents, William Earl Hedrick and Lavona Bobbie Jarvis Hedrick; and his brother Danny Hedrick. He is survived by : his wife Marian Rivera-Hedrick; his stepson Nathan Rivera of Denton; and his siblings, William E. Hedrick (Virginia) of Greensboro, Phil Hedrick (Paula) of Denton, Carol White of Lexington, Angie Hogan (Tommy) of Asheboro and Jan Wrublewski (Steve) of Thomasville.
