It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Inez Bumgarner of Denton, North Carolina, who passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gurney Frye and Mary Etta Frye; her husband RJ "Boots" Bumgarner; her son Donald Ray Bumgarner; her daughter-in-law Brenda Bumgarner; her grandchildren, Bryan Bumgarner and Ashley Bumgarner; her great grandchild Greyson Hodge; and her siblings, Grace, Frances, JT, Leon, Earnest, Elko of James, CA, David, Bobby, Charlie "Buster" and Jesse.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Burke (Len), Ann Hogan (Ricky) of Denton, Bonny Robbins (Chris) of Denton, Lee Bumgarner (Monette) of Manila and Ken Bumgarner of Asheboro; and her niece Charlene Marsh of Siler City. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
