He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Reby; his daughters, Doreen Nelligan, Dawn Rancourt (Claude), Christine Robin (David) and Jennifer Taylor (Brian); his grandchildren, Gerard Nelligan (Amanda), Robert Sheffer (Alyssa), Erica Thompson (Mike), Shannon Nelligan (Dan), Christine Soto (David), Michael Sheffer (Emily), Katherine McCoy (Tim), Nicole Elliott (Derek), Kylee Robin, Morgan Rancourt, Kaitlin Robin, Jason Robin, Jack Rancourt and Gracelyn Taylor; his great grandchildren, Declan Thompson, Milah Sheffer, London Thompson, Riley Nelligan, Avery Nelligan, Lily Sheffer, Ellie McCoy, Conor Nelligan, Noah Thompson, McKinley Nelligan and Madeline McCoy; his sister-in-law Connie Reby; his niece Diane Starr (Mike); and his nephew Bob Reby (Mary). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Unity Presbyterian Church (8210 Unity Church Rd, Denver, NC 28037).
