He is survived by: his wife Rita Whisenant Dellinger; his sons, Christopher Dellinger (Katherine) of Hickory and Lindsey Dellinger (Tammy) of Lincolnton; his grandchildren, Noah, Zachary, Liam, Leila and MarLee; and his sister-in-law Freda Dellinger of Denver.
