We bid farewell to Larry Michael Dycus of Denver, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 28, 2025 at the age of 76. Larry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roy and Ruth Edwards Dycus; and his siblings, Mildred Thompson, Jean Haney and Russell Dycus.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Ikerd Dycus; his children, Keith Dycus (Matt Hovis) of Shallotte, NC and Katie Quiring (Jesse) of Sylva, NC.; and his grandchildren, Kate, Emma Dycus, Zoe, Ella Hovis, Noah and Lizzie Quiring.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Bennett Funeral Service (7878 NC-16, Newton, NC 28658). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
