He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Royal Kennedy and Hazel Daniels Kennedy; and his sister Judy Padgett. He is survived by: his wife Judy McCoy Kennedy; his children, Melissa Fowler (Greg) of Stanley and Scott Kennedy (Brent) of Denver, CO; his grandchildren, Allison Saunders (Matt) and Eian Fowler (Kelsey); and his great grandchildren, McCoy Fowler, Sarah Kate Saunders, Walker Fowler and Carson Saunders.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Webb's Chapel United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
