He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Starita and Mary Louise Cafiero Starita. He is survived by: his wife Joann; and his brothers, William Starita and Robert Starita. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, and his niece.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Good Samaritan Funeral Home (3362 NC-16, Denver, NC 28037). The military honors was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Salisbury National Cemetery (501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144).
