As we bid Diane farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Diane is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Davis and Hattie Davis; her daughter Tina Cartrette; and her sister Patricia Dyer Wall. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Dale Arnder; her niece Sherri (C. Gray Hodge Jr.); her great-niece Meagan Hodge Goins (Ryan); and her great-nephew John Logan Hodge.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (215 W Kapp St, Dobson, NC 27017). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dobson City Cemetery (118 Bluemont St, Dobson, NC 27017).
