He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Pete" Riggins and Roxie Riggins; his wife Regena Riggins; and his son-in-law Johnny Hardy. He is survived by: his son Donald Riggins Jr.; his daughter-in-law Debbie; and his daughters, Karen Abner (David), Lisa Hardy, Patricia Hall (Michael) and Barbara Thompson. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
