As we bid adieu to Julia's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Julia has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Emory Hunnicutt and Mary Barnes Yancey Hunnicutt; her husband Dr. James Grayson Hall; and her son James Grayson Hall, Jr.. She is survived by: her nephew Jay; and her brothers, William Emory Hunnicutt, Jr. of Greensboro and Thomas Blacknall Hunnicutt (Nancy) of Burnsville. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Dobson United Methodist Church (204 S Main St, Dobson, NC 27017). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
