Katherine Forbis Wilmoth Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katherine Forbis Wilmoth of Dobson, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gray Forbis and Louise Wyrick Forbis; her husband Jackie Darrell Wilmoth; and her brother David Forbis. She is survived by: her sons, Bobby (Kaysa Wilmoth) and Jackie Scott (Stephanie Wilmoth); her grandchildren, Josh, Justin, Jacob, Cody and Chase Wilmoth; her great grandchildren, Willow and Jacklyn Wilmoth; her sister Carole; her siblings-in-law, Steve Leftwich, Rosemary, James Bledsoe, Joann Wilmoth and Celia Forbis; and her close friends, Juanita Gillespie and Jessica Harris. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church (1029 Crossroads Church Rd, Dobson, NC 27017). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice.
