She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Fowler and Ada Susan Walker Fowler; and her husband Marvin Lee Spicer Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Marvin Lee Spicer Jr. (Janet) and Glenn Spicer; her grandchildren, Lheanne Sanders, Steven, Dr. Marvin Lee Spicer III and Taylor; her close friend Lady; and her caregivers, Melissa, Pamela, Judy and Terri.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Turkey Ford Baptist Church (1476 Turkey Ford Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Turkey Ford Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, or to Mountain Valley Hospice.
