She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Robert and Edna Eloise Hodges Hiatt; her husband Grant Evans Thayer; and her brother Charles Hiatt. She is survived by: her children, Vickie Ramey (Tim), Beckie Sebastian (Scott), Lisa Seeborg (Ryan) and Joshua Thayer; her daughter-in-law Jessica; her grandchildren, Garrett Draughn, Anna, Jordan Sebastian, Elliott Draughn, Emily Sebastian, Ammen Mounce, Kyleigh Lane, TJ Ramey, Caitlin, Tess Ramey, Will Danley, Camden Seeborg, Dylan Seeborg, Chloe Seeborg, Cassi Thayer and Scarlett Thayer; her great grandchildren, Curtis Kelly Draughn, Ansley Ramey and Jack Ramey; her sister Catherine Williams; and her brother-in-law Henry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church (1029 Crossroads Church Rd, Dobson, NC 27017). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
