She was predeceased by: her parents, Dudley Williams and Bertha Williams; her husband Frank C. Hughes; and her siblings, Helen Roberson, Iris Payne, Lillian Carter, Jack Williams, Earl Tosso Williams and Clyde Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Hughes (Judy) and Brenda Hughes McHone (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Dena McHone Holliman (Jeff), Jon McHone (Angie), Justin McHone (Melissa), Katrina Hughes, Christe Anton (David), Brook Buckholtz (Tommy) and Sarah Jane Simmons (Matthew); her siblings, Sadie Williams Martin, Nancy Williams Hubbard, Barbara Williams Morrison and Nash Williams (Donna); and her sister-in-law Opal Williams. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren; twelve, great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (202 W Blue Ridge St, Stuart, VA 24171). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Home (202 W Blue Ridge St, Stuart, VA 24171).
