It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Opalene W. McKeaver of Dobson, North Carolina, who passed away on December 23, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert R. White and Etta Hodges White; her son Chris; and her sister Doris Ann White Greenwood. She is survived by: her husband Steven McKeaver; her daughter-in-law Pam Whitaker McKeaver; her granddaughters, Sydney McKeaver Coe (Hogan) and Carrie McKeaver Creech (Alex); and her brothers-in-law, Danny Greenwood and Gary McKeaver. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
