She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Jim" Patrick and Louise Walker Hughes; and her husband Billy Wilson Hodges. She is survived by: her children, Theresa Hodges of Dover, Kathryn Perkins (Troy) of Winterville, NC and James "Jim" Hodges (Karin) of Creedmoor, NC; her grandchildren, Emily Perkins Hudson (Josh) of Winterville, NC, Elizabeth Perkins of Winterville, NC, Seth Hodges, Rebecca Hodges of Creedmoor, NC. and Finley Kathryn Hudson of Winterville, NC.; her sister Ann Hughes McColl of Rexford, NY; and her sisters-in-law, Sue Hodges Wilkinson of Pfafftown, NC and Linda Hodges Hicks of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
During COVID, several trips were made to the Ronald McDonald House in Greenville, where she gifted many baby blankets, as well as lap throws to the NC Veterans Home.
