She was predeceased by: her parents, Weldon Meares and Ida McLemore Johnson; her husband Henry Howard Maynor; her children, Scott Hardee and Katherine Ann Hardee; her grandson Dylan Hardee; and her brother Andy Meares.
She is survived by: her sister Barbara Meares Bedsole (Jake); her grandson Donovan Sellers; her sister-in-law Bobbie Jean Meares; her great grandchild Axel Brand; and her sibling's children, Anthony Meares (Shannon), Allen Bedsole (Sabrina), Kristy Meares Hall (Tony) and Melissa Bedsole Lockamy.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Singletary Church (241 Third St, Dublin, NC 28332). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
