With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Michael Davis of Dudley, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2026 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Davis and Patricia Davis; his brother Wynsie Davis; and his son-in-law David Paynter. He is survived by: his wife Jimmie Dawn Moody Davis; his daughters, Pam Kohnen (JR) and Jennifer Paynter; his nephew Billy Davis; his grandchildren, Brice Kohnen, Reese Paynter (China), Mitchell Kohnen (Jessica), Haley Jensen (Nathan), Samuel Paynter (Jordan), Luke Paynter and Benjamin Paynter; and his great grandchild Zachary Paynter.
