Greta Pelt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Greta Pelt (Dudley, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Greta shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Greta farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Denzel W. Aycock and Helen Mooring Aycock; her son Kirk Wren Pelt; and her sisters, Carolyn Aycock Tillman, Sandra Aycock Ridoutt and Deborah Aycock Fish.
She is survived by: her son Jereme Wayne Pelt; her grandson Jaden Benton; and her siblings, Reed Kimball Aycock (Vicki), Gary Lynn Aycock (Nora), Beverly Aycock Antley (Charles) and Jayme Aycock Whitaker (Rob).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home (2873 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Thomas Ruffin Aycock Cemetery (198 Aycock-Coston Ln, Pikeville, NC 27863).
