He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Ray Herritt and Brenda Turnage Herritt. He is survived by: his significant other Erin S. Herritt; his children, Jackson Herritt, Mikayla Olejar, Kaitlyn Olejar and Kayley Olejar; his sister Lisa H. Stanley (Bob); and his nieces, Jenna Stanley and Hallie Stanley.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home (2873 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333). A reception will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
