She is survived by: her children, Teneisha Mitchell of Mount Olive, Leroy Mitchell (Talasha) of Dudley, Alex Mitchell of Dudley, Christopher McKinny and Doug Whitfield; her siblings, Betty Pigford of Dunn, Kimberly Pigford-Parker (Steve) of Goldsboro, Julius Pigford (Rose) of Dudley and James Pigford (May) of Fayetteville; and her grandchildren, Jamie Alexander, Jessica Lewis, Andrea Tanner, TaNya'Allen and Alexander Allen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Carver Cemetery S.. A reception was held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM.
