He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Strickland and Estelle Thornton Strickland Wall. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Weaver Strickland; his sons, Jerry (Kelly Strickland), Bill (Sabrina Strickland) and Danny (Tammy Strickland); his grandchildren, Zachary, Ryan, Mikayla, Madison and Tyler Strickland; and his siblings, Nyoka "Jackie" S. Sutton and William Strickland. He is also survived by several in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wayne Memorial Park (2925 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333).
