She was predeceased by: her parents, Cicero Edward and Vera Mae Anderson Witherington; her grandson Nick Melvin; and her son-in-law Dale Melvin. She is survived by: her husband William B. Davis, Jr.; her children, William Edward Davis (Marilou) and Brenda Melvin; her grandchildren, Bryan Davis, Chris Melvin and Matthew Davis (Faron); and her great grandchildren, Owen Davis, Emma Davis and Mackenzie Davis. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
