She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Jackson and Annie Elizabeth Pittman Jackson; her husband George William Gardner; and her sisters, Edna Goff, Betty Evans and Carolyn Hargis.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Shearin (John) and John Gardner (Deana); her grandchildren, Mason Shearin, Ashleigh Gardner and Jonathan Gardner; her sister Linda Marlowe; and her friend Church. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
