He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert S. Boykin and Mabel J. Boykin. He is survived by: his wife Lucy Boykin; his sister Sheila B. Mozingo (Rodney) of Grantham; and his niece Christy Jones (Greg) of Greensboro.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home (2873 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333).
