He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Russell Parrish and Nancy Creola Earp Parrish; and his daughter Kathryn Leeann Miller. He is survived by: his wife Holly S. Parrish; his daughters, Holly Parrish Daly (Chris), Bridgett Parrish Kornegay and Janisue Elizabeth Taylor (Jonathon); his siblings, Brenda Holloman (Kenneth), Danny Parrish (Virginia), Freddy Parrish and Teresa Smith (Ralph); his grandchildren, Christopher Daly (Macayla), Carson Daly (Lauren), Cuyler Daly, Riley Williford (Spencer), Laylah Grady, Seth Kornegay, Logan Taylor, Emilee Taylor, Jaxson Taylor, Gabbi Miller and Jaydon Hood; and his great grandchild Camryn Daly. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Emmaus Baptist Church (700 Emmaus Church Rd, Dudley, NC 28333).
