He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Britt Tyson; and his parent Margaret O. Hinnant. He is survived by: his children, Patricia Monahan (Harry), Scott Tyson, Chuck Tyson and Kris Tyson; his grandchildren, Laura, Ashton, Amber and Brantley; his great grandchildren, Mason, Makyna, Covi and Lane; and his pet Stinky.
