He was predeceased by: his parents, William David and Nora Bertha Edwards Wise; his wife Gladys Vivian Guy Wise; his son Elton "Red" Wise; and his grandson Matthew Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Gail Johnson (Steve), Jarvis Wise (Angie), Ronald Wise and Ernest Wise (Lynn). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
