He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernard Walker and Mary Rebecca Smith Walker; and his brother Jackie Carson Walker. He is survived by : his wife Edna G. Walker; and his siblings, Eric Bernard Walker (Beth) and Rebecca "Becky" Bass. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
