It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie Godwin of Dunn, North Carolina, who passed away on August 10, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ilee Westbrook and Lola S. Westbrook; her husband David G. Godwin; and her son Michael L. Godwin. She is survived by: her son Gary Godwin (Sandra) of Dunn; her daughter-in-law Beth Godwin of Dunn; her grandchildren, Garrett Godwin (Megan), Brett Godwin, Brandon Godwin (Hannah) and Michaela G. Honeycutt (Austen); and her great grandchildren, Garrett Lane Godwin, Tyson Godwin, Caleigh Godwin, Harrison, Jack Godwin, Nash and Ellis Honeycutt.
