He is survived by: his children, Linda Carvin of Durham, NC, Rosa Smith of Durham, NC, David Lee Smith (Robin) of Dunn, NC., Daniel Smith of Dunn, NC. and Robert Lee Smith of Dunn, NC.. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty eight great -grandchildren and ten great- great- grandchildren, along with host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
